Default Wishful Thinking

I know I'm being very hopeful, but at the least it may tempt some friends into looking at a visit "Down Under". We're hosting the PSNZ national convention here in Invercargill in April next year.

Stan, please excuse my lack of acronym knowledge, as I guess that P stands for photography and NZ is New Zealand, but what does S stand for?

Having been to New Zealand twice, I wouldn't hesitate in going again if offered the chance. Unfortunately, the slush fund doesn't quite stretch to buying a ticket anytime soon

PSNZ is the Photographic Society of NZ, established about 60 years ago after two Kiwis had attended the Photographic Society of America's convention. It was based on the model of PSA, with a few other items from the RPS. I'm hoping that you folk will at least look at the web-site, and catch a few glimpses of my home town in passing.
