I have never been able to get along with a Colour analyser. There are just too many variables when colour printing to make them worthwhile for me to bother with. Each box of paper unless it has the same batch number will be different and the device will have to be re-calibrated for each one.
I find it far simpler to make a good test print from each box and note the colour filtration on the outside as a guide only. I say guide only because variations in the developer be it temperiture or age of the working solution will make slight differences. Sorry not for me. |

The main thing I find is that they give a good starting point to a printing session. I haven't found different batches of paper to need more than minor adjustment.
