Default Gelatine or Polyester

I have a number of Polyester sheets of film in various shades from Pale yellow to a deep orange, each approx .25mm thick. I have tried to find ones that are red and true infra red. Gelatine would work but I would prefer Polyester

These are to be cut down to make 18mm square inserts to fit at the back my Sigma 16/30 lens. For those who don't know that lens the front element protrudes by approx 20mm so normal filters cannot be used and spring loaded 'fingers' are fitted to the rear element mount to hold polyester or gelatine filters.

Thanks for that. My other filters are Lee but whenever I spoke to the dealer where I bought them, they said they could not get hold of small quantities. I took this to mean 'They could not be bothered' so was looking elsewhere.
(The ones I have were already in stock so they didn't have to order more)

using the "find a dealer" link on the lee site should give you some options for sourcing them.

See if you can get hold of a swatch book of Lee lighting filters - These are approximately 25x50mm gel samples with transmission curves attached.

If Lee won't send you one, I'll try to grab one from my local agent.

Indeed. The Lee filters I have got are optically clear and certified for use on a camera lens. Actually the ones I have are only 75mm square, not 100mm.

I think you can get the 100s without the frame but its been a long time since I bought mine so I can't recall exactly.
I actually went to their facility in Andover as I was nearby but they don't normally sell direct to customers.
